Green
Some artists can get a lot of top 10 hits these days thanks to album bombs and frontloaded sales/streams But how many of them had enough longevity to rank in the top 5000 Hot 100 songs of all time list? This list uses the same formula that Billboard uses for their all time charts and it's updated until the week of December 26th of 2020. For this thread I only considered female artists with at least 10 top 10 hits on the all time list. *For example: 33/38 for Madonna means that she scored 38 top 10 hits on the Hot 100, but only 33 of them rank on the top 5000 all-time list. 1. I’m pretty sure that if Die Another Day had been released in the digital era like Hang Up it would’ve gone at least top

Enzolorenzo
I’m surprised that (You Drive Me) Crazy didn’t make it. Its chart run is pretty similar to Toxic and Oops and they made it. I’m surprised that Gimme More made it lol

More often that not, when an artist heavily underperforms with a preceding era on radio, big stations are usually hesitant to play said artists new singles as quickly (unless they have a radio deal and even then the magic wears off after the first week). “HU” had a very slow start on Pop radio and was mostly played by smaller stations before Z100/KISS/B96 etc. got on board and even then airplay was minimal. Thankfully, “4 Minutes” did much better. Edited January 13, 2021 by GoodGuyGoneGhetto
