Brinny Baby Posted December 31, 2020 Posted December 31, 2020 If Beyonce doesn't have Destiny's Child in her list, Selena shouldn't have The Scene either.

And not articles and such? Because Billboard do the same for Beyonce and Destiny's Child.

For example, as an overall act, she is the second artist to achieve a number one in four decades alongside Carey. However, as a solo act, she still only did it in three. They’re both completely separated as acts on lists such as the “Greatest of... All-Time” charts, similar to Diana Ross/The Supremes; Justin Timberlake/N’Sync etc.

I'm not sure if it could be a mistake, though. Oops, never checked the actual lists, just went by Each songs individual Wikipedia article and noticed it was the CashBox year end for “Stoney End” (not BB) and solo Neil Diamond version of “Flowers” My bad

Godly Posted December 10, 2022 Author Posted December 10, 2022 OP updated with the 2022 chart! Mariah Carey extends her lead to 21 years, Taylor Swift breaks her tie with Janet Jackson, Rihanna and Pink, who instead welcome Beyoncé to the 14-years club. Godly Posted November 22, 2023 Author Posted November 22, 2023 (edited) OP updated! No new entries this year, but lots of movements nonetheless: Mariah, Taylor, Beyoncé, Rihanna, Nicki, Selena and Ariana all chart at least one song in this year's Hot 100 YEC. For some added trivia, here's how things would look like if I were to exclude years where an artist only charted a song that had already entered the YEC of a previous year, which is usually the result of a truncated chart-run, and only counted "unique" entries: 1. Mariah (19) 2. Madonna (18) 3. Rihanna/Taylor (15) 5. Beyoncé/Pink (14) 7. Janet (13) 8. Nicki (12) 9. Cher/Dionne/Kelly/Selena (11) 13. Ariana/Whitney (9) Edited November 22, 2023 by Godly 1
PoisonPill Posted November 22, 2023 Posted November 22, 2023 AIWFCIY didn’t make the year-end chart before 2020? I thought the rule change was earlier.
