Coming up tomorrow: The final piece of my Best of 2020 set will be unveiled, and it is the full Top 360 Songs of 2020 recap.

 

Tonight, there are two big runoff elections in the state of Georgia that could decide party control in the Senate for the 117th Congress: Jon Ossoff (D) v. David Perdue for the 6-year regular seat that is up in the 2026 election and Raphael Warnock (D) v. Kelly Loeffler (R) for the special election to fill the remainder of former Sen. Johnny Isakson (R)'s term that is up in the 2022 election.  If the Democrats win both, then Senate control will flip to the Democrats when Kamala Harris (D) takes over on January 20th. If Democrats win neither or only one, the Republicans will retain Senate control.

Good news in Georgia: Raphael Warnock (D) flips one of the Georgia Senate seats. The other seat hasn't officially been called except by DDHQ, but trends are pointing in Jon Ossoff (D)'s favor, meaning that the Democratic Party will have 50+Harris Senate control.

This is the 30th and the final installment for the 2020 edition of JGib's Best Ofs.  We finally close the chapter of the 2020 Best Of thread by posting the full Top 360 Songs recap.  

 

See ya back in December 2021 for a new set of songs and more, hopefully with the COVID-19 pandemic largely receding as life mostly returns to a pre-COVID normal and bunch of people get vaccinated at that point in time. In the meantime, please wear your mask correctly when out in public. Joe Biden's Presidency and Kamala Harris's Vice Presidency will begin on January 20th, a marked contrast to the last four years that have plagued America, Nancy Pelosi maintains her Speakership by very narrow margins in the House, and Mitch McConnell will no longer ramrod his destructive agenda through with the double-barrel Georgia Senate seat flips to Team Blue to create a 50+Harris majority.
