Aphrodite by far. Disco is overrated and boring. :coffee2:

Popboi.

DISCO is her best album since Aphrodite but it doesn't beat it. Both are among her most cohesive but Aphrodite has bigger highs that sets it apart.

hmmmmmmm this is tough

im going to go with aphrodite, but i will say that disco is probably more CONSISTENT.  nothing on it matches cant beat the feeling, al the lovers, or too much.

In retrospect I think Aphrodite’s of-the-moment production kind of bogs it down. That big pop/EDM sound is really of it’s time. Of course DISCO represents a certain era of music too but the album as a whole is maybe more palatable?

Disco... Aphrodite has a good production and 4 good songs including Japan bonus track...

Disco is more cohesive, less bland ...

Aphrodite was driven by one song and it shows...

Disco has so much potential and so many standouts that beats Aphrodite

Aphrodite already sounded dated upon release. ATL is the only timeless song on it, but it’s still a good album with soaring highs.

I think I enjoy Disco more overall — better soundscape and a lot more single-worthy songs, even if it’s too long and samey without the massive standouts of Aphro.

Your taste is all over the place :deadbanana4:

OT: it’s way too soon to even be able to compare them. Aphrodite is comfortable and familiar for me to listen to, I know every lyric and beat and production element of every song on that album. Because it’s had a whole decade to do so.

DISCO hasn’t even had 20 days.

Both are really interesting, wall-to-wall dance albums and Kylie seems to start every decade with standout “classic Kylie” records that then see her weave and wonder through the following decade doing some really interesting work.

Magic is Kylie's best effort so it's DISCO.

Aidan.

Aphrodite is quite honestly a lower tier album for me. It's SUPER cohesive to a fault and just lacks anything really interesting. There are a few great moments but that's it for me. It's meant to be a commercial record but that's its downfall.

Disco on the other hand is also cohesive but varies appropriately and does not feel over-produced. I also feel like Disco has a much more focused approach to its concept - It's a mapping of the disco genre and things associated with it, with some branching into current affairs and deeper topics.

Overall, she just feels so much more creative and alive these past few years. So this new period in her career wins easily for me
