that's the actual kii because i'm not always a fan of these type of accolades because it can change and be rebroken so easily but I do remember people knowing Cardi hadn't released music for well over 6 months while making a big deal about Doja and Meg surpassing her in listeners with their current hits.

 

so i guess this shade is all in fun.

She talked a lot of times on how her team is so picky with pop collabs because they don't want people to think that she's more of a pop girl than a rap girl. Won't be surprised if that's also the reason why most of her pop collabs on her debut era are missing on her Spotify page, while all her rap collabs are in there. :dies:
