This is not true - Freddie Mercury, Far East Movement, Jay Sean and Zayn are all Asian and have had #1s since 1963.

If you say that an Asian American is anything else than fully american, then it is considered racist...

Unless the person has double citizenship or multiple passports.

Well unlike them Zayn actually looks Asian but yes technically they could count.

 

The achievement should be first act born in/from Asia, if were being technical. 

Gangnam Style was so robbed. The endless obliteration of the H100 we would've seen if it had charted with the current formula.

This literally isn’t even close to true.  There’s tons of Asians who just call themself Asian instead of saying “Asian American”. Across most groups I think saying “ - American” is out of style.  They can be both, Asian and American, without it needing to be said to together.  Saying someone is Black or Latino doesn’t mean they’re not American.

People can call themselves whatever they chose to It does not mean that people from other race can call them the same.

 

As a black man; if I call a Chinese-american  just Chinese, I expose myself to accusation of racism.

When Trump called a Mexican-american judge Mexican, the whole world called him a racist and said the judge was American.

Not my fave but I love seeing the racists fume and they can try to discredit BTS, they can try.

Since when? The term “Asian” =/= Asia-based.  Most people do not call themselves xyz-American daily life.
