The only single released from the album that wasn’t sung by Whitney bombed and wasn’t even released in the US so therefore is irrelevant to this thread :rip: 

 

Whitney sang all the U.S singles/hits and was the lead actress of the movie so was clearly the reason for its success so yes, it does and should count.
