I HATE Gaga so much for ruining what could have been such a fun album era. Yes I know COVID and protests were happening but every artist pushed and properly engaged with fans while she just half assed signed CDs, released tons of cheap merch and would once in a blue moon engage with fans online. She totally ruined her "big popgirl extravaganza comeback"

All the push for Rain On Me only to just totally drop it after the bag was secured. Really disappointing. Was Chromatica her best work? Obviously not. But it deserved better, when albums like Rare and Lover* can stay on the charts for 6 months/a year

 

*I love both those albums too so don't come for me but it's not their best work and the promo game was also whack.

I just looked it up and it was on the charts for 26 weeks, which surprised me. Another album that deserved better. All three suffered from lack of promo and bad single choices/rollout. When you think about what could have been...

They didn’t. Red left the top 40 kinda fast. It actually left the chart with 80 weeks (but then returned with 1989).

I believe TUN got kicked out of the Top 50 last December because of Christmas albums re-charting.

This is about being consecutively in the Top 50 for the first 52 weeks.
