Also, technically, “Soldier” featured T.I & Lil’ Wayne. 

For example, Usher would have five solo #1’s overall too, but “Nice and Slow” went #1 in 1998 so it’s four.

I love D.C but their “Destiny’s Fulfilled” singles were extremely frontloaded, as they all slowed down as they were approaching number one.

 

”Lose My Breath” had a huge debut on Pop radio as well as Rhythmic radio and peaked in the top ten of both in three weeks, but stalled as they approached the top five and then had a big fall.

 

It was the same for “Soldier” - fast climb, relatively big fall but at least it held slightly more longevity. 
 

The most stable songs from the era were “Cater 2 U” and “Girl” and they both missed the top ten.
