She didn't lie at all. This is why before I watched I asked "does this show actually have a message or is it just white people romanticizing suicide?" and I QUICKLY got my answer just by watching. They could've done this a whole lot better smh

inb4 everyone "[email protected]" and brings up her album

I rolled my eyes just reading the title. When is this girl getting headlines for something other than being opinionated on Twitter? Cause I'm waiting.

in my opinion it romanticizes a revenge suicide and it doesn't bring up mental illness or depression AT ALL

Cringey as ****

It does bring up mental illness and depression. It just doesn't do it in such an overt way.

It sort of romanticizes suicide, but it also has an overall message of "don't be a dick, because you never know what someone is going through."

That's what I got from it, anyway. :rip:

She's right, they don't address Hannah's clear issues with depression and/or anxiety. But it glorifies her essentially putting the blame on people for her personal choice to end her life. Obviously, a character like Bryce deserves that, but for those like Clay or Zach... it seems so unnecessary.

Everyones praising the show. But I guess there are about 5k people who are not good enough to appreciate it.
