Brikenbur
Well, she managed to grab the #1 spot on iTunes day of release and without a “remix,” so that means fans were eager to spend their money on it. Also, still #1 on the 229 million-subscribed Spotify, so that’s good.

Don't mean to shame Taylor, I'm just posting her current album stats to show how competitive it is. Folklore: 11 -5 Taylor Swift - the 1 13 -4 Taylor Swift - cardigan 19 -5 Taylor Swift - exile (feat. Bon Iver) 32 -12 Taylor Swift - the last great american dynasty 38 -15 Taylor Swift - my tears ricochet 42 -10 Taylor Swift - august 57 -18 Taylor Swift - mirrorball 59 -16 Taylor Swift - invisible string 63 -21 Taylor Swift - seven 74 -25 Taylor Swift - this is me trying 77 -27 Taylor Swift - illicit affairs 79 -27 Taylor Swift - betty 92 -28 Taylor Swift - mad woman 113 -28 Taylor Swift - peace 120 -33 Taylor Swift - epiphany 150 -45 Taylor Swift - hoax
Timber
Also, the song sounds like an intro song of an album, not a single, imo. Still excellent tho.

bad guy
A barb would know a thing or two about freefalling. OT: It’s stable on Spotify, iTunes, and is #3 on the Global AM chart. Plus AM has never been her strongest market with her singles, like most female artists, so this isn’t a surprise. alestevens
She's still following the Taylor-print, so after her equivalent of the Debut and Fearless the GP needs a break so she's now entering her Peak Low era. But dont let underperforming singles fool you, the album will still smash
