I think for this new gen, labels want to ensure they've become streaming forces before putting one out since streaming is what they're banking on as opposed to pure sales. Like it'd be pointless for them if she puts out an album and the album tracks get tragic streams, they'd rather it be where every album track will be getting good streams.
