Both songs debuted at #1 and have similar chart run

Rain On Me *four weeks inside Top 10 (so far)*

1 - 5 - 10 - 9 - 11 - 12

Hold It Against Me *five weeks inside Top 10*

1 - 6 - 8 - 10 - 10 - 11

Which one was/is bigger?

I love ROM for what it did for Chromatica, Gaga and Ari, but HIAM definitely had a biggest momentum going on and it became   so I'll have to go with HIAM

Today's radio update:

15. Lady Gaga & Ariana Grande - "Rain on Me" 68.52 (-0.26) **

So what is the truth?

HIAM debut week was monstrous and more hyped. Other than that they were both very weak

The one that broke multiple Mediabase records and became one of the fastest selling singles of 2011 with its massive solo #1 debut :clap3:

Rain On Me outstreamed it in the most relevant metric (195m vs 46m) so that one :cm:

Love miss spears though!

There was a decrease for a number of songs, and it hasn't even debuted on callout scores yet before it's added to power rotation. Once again, thanks for playing.

HIAM was an event. Rom was not. It was payolad and pushed with all those bundles only to debut at #1 with very weak numbers during very slow time for music.

Yes, cuz a format got removed but nevertheless, ROM had negative Pop update yesterday as well 10. Rain On Me : 9.746 (-27) | 43.520 (-0.157)
It's clearly peaking. You remind me of Kats and Swifties now who also thought callouts would save NRO and YNTCD :rip:

well it seems that the level of comparisons is dropping  :rip:.. ROM seems to be higher now but I think it is very forgettable in the long run, so HIAM takes this

Once it's said and done, ROM will end up bigger but those first 5 weeks for either track are terrible :skull:

2011 was the peak of Pop Music. So, ROM wins because being #1 in 2020 with a pop song is so much more difficult.

ROM features Ariana who already had three #1 debuts in the last two years ma.

I doubt they will let ROM plummet off the charts after two months like HIAM did, GaGa has to know its the saving grace of her album. So my vote goes to that one.

I think ROM is and will be bigger but HIAM being 13 years into Britney’s career and being a solo track with no help is more impressive.
