Fantasia’s I Believe went #1 and didn’t make the YEC. Not an MPG but it’s interesting, think it’s the only song this century to do it, Trollz could pull it off though

Because it was :rip: You know a world exists outside of the US, a world where Erotica was far bigger than Applause. Not even taking into account the obvious fact that a 1992 NSFW single about bdsm and *****graphy would obviously be disadvantaged in the physical era compared to Applause

OT: I thought Taylor would have more tbh, all those promotional singles that went top 10 and then she later made a single flopped. Such a bad move.

The way the U.S made “Russian Roulette” BOMB like that! :rip:

I still think the lead single should’ve been “Hard”, but I still see why she went with “RR”.

There is no way that "Erotica" is bigger thian "Applause".

NK's "Tonight" was another top 10 that didn't make it to a YE chart.

Both Sides Now

Very interesting, thanks!

Gimme More is the biggest surprise here as it genuinely is remembered. I guess some of these songs might suffer from being Q4 releases (e.g. Lover)? :duck:

New Kids on the Block. I was being too lazy to type it out fully.

Also, Xscape's "My Little Secret" was a top 10 that didn't make a year-end.
