What do you mean? They all sing and dance. The idea behind most of these big groups is that the more members the higher the chance the fangirls would fall for one of them and buy their stuff (that's why many times they make individual album covers and merch)

 

In Japanese members where there are like 20 or 30+ members sometimes only a couple sing and the other dance, but it's a different concept and approach

I'm all for TWICE increasing their female fans but it's not like they needed them to become kpop's best selling gg.  And the majority of their international fanbase is female anyways.
