17 of 19 of Mariah’s #1s are multi-week #1s and she has more weeks than anyone at that spot. And of course you had to say “less than 10” rather than a smaller number because it’s still impressive. Of all the people to come for regarding charts

This thread is clearly about the weeks spent in the top 10, not at #1, I was genuienly surprised to see THAT many songs.

 

You were coming for Gaga for absolute no reason   ROM is still top 10, and there are LITERALLY  20 songs below Shallow (the next Gaga song on the list), so saying Gaga is "at the bottom of the list" is pathetic to say the least

I didn’t even mention Gaga alone - I mentioned two others who have several songs in those twenty you mentioned.

Gaga has 2 singles there and one of them has been out for 4 weeks, hence it has only spent 4 weeks Top 10, what are you even talking about

Rain on Me was released a month ago hun  i.e. the amount of time its spent in the top 10 so far.

 

But yeh, a big scream that the 3 at the bottom (the 1 week top 10s) are only gonna spend that long, and they're all from the last 2 months.

What was the trajectory of "I Will Always Love You"? It's weird that it was a 14-week #1, but only spent 16 weeks in the top 10.

It's 18 weeks in the top 10 overall. I just added the 2 weeks it spent in 2012 after Whitney's death

 

But yeah 16 weeks in the top 10 between 1992-1993 during its original chart run:

 

1992-1993:  1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-2-7  (16 weeks)

 

2012:  7-3  (2 weeks)

Okay, that makes sense. I imagine radios and even some stores starting to pull it down after its long reign at #1.

Okay, so 17 (so far) #1s have 6 months +/26 weeks+ in the Hot 100 Top 10. The Box would make 18?

At first, Billboard would allow commercially-released songs to chart on airplay only before sales point kicked in. In this song's case, Love bubbled under for 1 wk, debuted at #40 its 2nd week at radio & surged to 12 when sales points kicked in wk 3.
