Drake charts 5/6 albums on the BB 200 chart every week, why?

It's been happening since late 2017. Why?

Sometimes, he even charts 7 albums.

Hmm, I feel like streams may need to be weighed down a bit on Billboard

He's the only artist who charts that many albums every week. I don't believe it has anything to do with how Billboard weighs streams.

That's true. He's also been #1 on the Rolling Stone's Artists 500 chart for the past 3 weeks. He's usually #1 on the chart.

Don't they stream Post Malone's music instead?

Classics upon classics and he's lowkey the king of music

He also has multi-demographic appeal which is extremely rare in music nowadays

He's an absolute streaming force. It just sucks that the gender gap in streaming is so severe :'(

Billie, Ariana and Rihanna are also streaming forces in their own right and they have more streams than most male acts.

Streaming you cut streaming and all his album are OUT

Considering how pure sales are pretty much non-existent these days save for bundles which usually don't last more than a week, if you cut streaming, no album would chart.

He's just truly huge, so huge that his discography is casually streamed by a huge portion of the public every single day.

It's funny when people try to push the narrative he's falling off. :deadbanana2: 1. He moves MILLIONS of album units even with no new album every year 2. Charts 5+ albums every week. If he's doing that while falling off, then wtf does that say about these other artists who can't even do either of those at any point in their career ever.

Even if he has peaked with Scorpion/Views, I think he'll still have a decent success (ala Taylor/Eminem past their peaks) and will continue to have a big catalog.

because he's the biggest artists of the century in the US so far. As simple as that

Taylor might be ahead on the all time list, but it's only because streaming wasn't a thing till 2015-6 + he's catching up

I think he'll be ahead of Taylor on the All Time list by the end of this decade, especially if he's as consistent with new music as he was in the last decade. He's more than proven himself as a consistent force on both the Billboard 200 and the Hot 100 chart.

They are the exception that proves the rule. Just take a look at the rolling stone artist chart sometime, or pretty much any streaming chart. The gender gap is disappointing

He's one of those artists that benefit from many demographics being interested in his music. In his case, he benefits from both men and women of various sexualities really enjoying/streaming his songs.
