idk why but I always liked Watermelon Sugar, but it never hit the way it hit when the MV was released..... the song was created to thrive in the Summer... it just has a whole different vibe to it if u listen to it in this time of the year  I had forgotten it existed before the MV lol. 

I knew this would smash if it got properly released in the summer  

insane how this is starting to smash just now and dsn is still huge after all those months

I’m actually shocked by how good this song is doing (not because of the song itself because I actually really like it), but because of this song being already a pre album release and then becoming a single 5 months after the album came out. I’m interested to see how far this song goes on the Hot 100.

Abosolutley, the "I just wanna taste it" line fits the melancholic but euphoric vibe of this crazy summer perfectly

This is so true. Windows down on a hot sunny day, driving to the beach and blasting this.

The way this song is smashing after the album is released and after its been already a promo single before is kinda rare and impressive.
