The only bad song in the Top 10 is “Toosie Slide.” Hopefully it leaves soon.

 

I won’t be surprised if “Rockstar” stays #1 until after Labor Day. Not like anymore big releases are forthcoming any time soon.

However, Don't Start Now I'd consider just as dancy as ROM (if not more so), Say So is disco-funk inspired dance pop and Blinding Lights is '80s synthpop dance. If you stretch it out, that's 5. 

Um...this is one of the most 'dance/DISCO funk/synth, 90s EDM mixed not just weeks but YEARS lol! 

Dababy has such better songs but happy for him! 

I'm not a big fan of the song but congrats. We love an organic #1.

Can't believe that Roses is smashing so early in the USA. This gives me hope that Breaking Me (by Topic) and Lose Control (by Meduza) might smash later because they're BOPS

alot of songs can be released for the summer now that the pandemic is in it's final stages.

 

I actually expect alot of people to release material this and next month.

Rockstar actually is a bop.

I'm not opposed to this being a multi week #1

ROCKSTAR is actually a cute song, will definitely get tired of it if it indeed pulls 10+ weeks at #1 though.

Yeah I thought about it and you make sense.. its just that Doja, Weeknd and that Roses singer all have a lot of support from the Urban audience I think..

 

The songs are dance-y but their main public are urban listeners. So I see Dua and Gaga as the most dance/pop tracks on the top10.

Yeah I also feel bad for him. He is being discredited and it makes ZERO sense. He is from a small village in Kazakhstan and deserves his credit. The only reason I can think of is because he allegedly does not want to pursue music? He apparently did an interview where he said he does not really consider himself a dj or an artist in general and just wanted to have fun doing remixes and he is pursuing engineering at university instead. He even apparently turned down offers to remix other artists tracks cuz he just wants to do it for fun when he wants when he likes a song. Either way I do think he should be credited. Not being credited as well as Saint Jhn's initially ignoring Imanbek and his remix makes me think this has something to do with Jhn's label or something lol

I haven't hated her music in a while. Was just ARTPOP through Joanne. But Ari had nothing to do with it, considering I abhor "Stuck With U" more than "Toosie"

 

That said, Chromatica is all I ever wanted from ARTPOP and more. ASIB was alright as well, but it had better songs than "Shallow" which I would have preferred to see as the breakout hit, but oh well.

Unless Rihanna or Adele release in August, I think it'll be #1 the entire Summer, which would mean it could start pushing for a Despacito type of run if no competition pops up.

I know, that's why I posted that, getting myself ready for another monster smash I'll end up disliking by the end of it's #1 run.

Happy for DaBaby  Hopefully it stays there for a while!
