What an amazing woman. I've been listening to her almost all the past three weeks.

according to my last.fm I've listened to Love Will Never Do (Without Godnet) 104 times, which means I've been scalped at least twice that amount by the song :sistrens:

I dove into Janet's discography as kind of a new year's resolution and it's really freakin good. :heart2:

Hope to spend more time here.

Damita Jo is her most underrated album, better than All for You imo

I LOVE it when taste is being displayed right on the first page of the thread :clap3:

Yup. Damita Jo is her best album since TVR. If it had come any other time than after Nipplegate the reception to it would have been a lot different.

I think the negative reaction to Damita Jo from critics was definitely influenced by Nipplegate. It's strange that Janet was attacked for being too sexual on the album even though nobody had a problem with it when she had been doing it since the janet. era.

20 Y.O. isn't bad by any means. Generic and uninspired, yes, but still a really fun R&B album full of bewps. Discipline is the real stain in her discography.
