Her views are collapsing on youtube, overall

In fairness, YouTube is collapsing. Only one song got over 4M views yesterday. The biggest English song only did 2.5M views. YouTube is done for.

There’s a ton of competition now and YouTube really thrived as the “passive radio station” source for places like shopping centers, gyms, etc. Over time, that became especially true in Latin American and Asian countries as it started to fall in the U.S. and Europe due to the arrival of Spotify and Apple Music. With a greater emphasis on on-demand streams for most charts, labels began pushing people towards Spotify/Apple Music as they were both more profitable and more beneficial for charting than YouTube. It’s left YouTube in a totally dire situation.

For example,

Bad Guy

Spotify - 1.767B

YouTube - 1.092B

Levitating ft. DaBaby

Spotify - 517M

YouTube - 201M

Blinding Lights

Spotify - 2.231B

YouTube - 952M

By 2025, 100M views will be impressive again.

Songs don’t get huge video streams anymore but recurrent streams are still good if the songs are classics
