Navyofbadgals
I mean it's still a good number but definitely dissappointing I hope this dissappointment continues and he realizes he actually has to deliver at least something passable cause this is.. IBeMe
he probably will not debut #1 in the US but it will rise as more Tik Tok users dance to it and make it grow. This will be huge but not as huge as his other MEMEable hits. Edited April 4, 2020 by IBeMe

Pop Art
Inb4 iHype comes in with an essay about how his non-album singles always bomb and it means nothing if this one does too. Will probably still be a hit though, just not as big as many expected.
More Than A Melody
On the counter or charts? Worldwide? Isn’t that number super low for Drake?
Sombre
That's.... it? I expected double digits (for mid-day, which this is, I know) considering it reached #1 on AM US really fast.
idkwiam
First day streams are not that important. Better have 6M consecutive updates rather a big first day and then fall off during the week.

AidanUnderYou
I had a feeling this could happen. You can't force a viral hit off the bat, these things need to come naturally.
istan4badgalriri
Streams are generally down for everyone so he would've done like 7M-8M in normal times I think ? But still underwhelming

TaylenaStan
Well 50% are probably from the US so #1 debut on lock anyway + US AM numbers are probably even higher Still expected a bit more like 7-8M (yeah Corona is a factor but its still a new Drake song with playlist support + MV etc so 7-8M should have been possible) Edited April 4, 2020 by TaylenaStan
Starkboy
Corona could hurt him but not that much at all. BL is still pulling +6M, DSN +5M. and those are old. It's probably very local so far, I'm sure US numbers are still big.

Technically Blinding Lights and Don't Start Now are still in that "current" group that's being affected hard, but it could affect brand new songs even more perhaps. Just a thought.
