The Official Chart: First Look, which is broadcast on BBC Radio 1 today between 6pm – 7pm, offers a first glance of the Top 20 ahead of Friday’s Official Singles Chart Top 100. The chart is based on preliminary sales and early streaming reports.

 

Here's how the week is shaping up so far:

Taylor Swift is set to claim this week's highest new entry with Lover, the title track from her forthcoming album, released on August 23.

Shawn Mendes & Camila Cabello's Senorita is on track for sixth non-consecutive week at Number 1.

 

Whitney Houston’s Higher Love with Kygo is currently at Number 3, and could give Whitney her first Top 3 hit in 20 years. 1999’s My Love Is Your Love was her last highest-charting, peaking at Number 2. 

 

Lil Tecca storming to his first Top 10 with  Ransom, up five to Number 8.

 

DJ and producer Joel Corry edges closer to the Top 10 with Sorry, currently up five places from last week to Number 11.
