Ofcourse it does. Gaga is out there selling 1 million pure sales with her most recent album, that's not so far away from what Ariana and Billie have done SPS so far. Pure sales will always be more preferred than equivalent units, and I think this is not up for debate, except when you stan for someone who can't sell records (anymore).

 

OT: who would've thought? She really came back to the top spot at the pop scenario
