I think Bad Guy still has a chance for #1 tbh. OTR continues to drop like a rock at radio, and Bad Guy will have at least 125 additional points just from the remix alone

It's ridiculous. Talk is only at 11 weeks, though. It's technically one of the youngest in this stale ass Top 10.

 

Sunflower's longevity is absurd at this point, and Sucker is super forgettable yet getting 20 weeks.

 

I think Talk will die fast when radio starts dropping.

Radio is out of tune with what people actually use. Meme or not people are using it in their spare time which means less people are listening to radio when they listen to OTR at such high rates.

Radio hasn't been "unfair" with OTR. Not because you're slaying on streaming and digital services mean you're automatically gonna do great on radio, just because. They're not necessarily the same audiences. In fact, reallity is that there are people who only consume music because of radio, and to know what's people demanding on radio, there are callouts each week. "Old Town Road" began with very good callouts on Pop radio, but started decreasing inmmediatately week after week. Right now, it's the song with the HEAVIEST BURNOUT, which translates in how tired radio audience is with stations playing the song.

 

It did better than expected considering it's not the typical radio song, and it can sound a little off on the radios playlists.

Yeah, it's not peaking, it's the biggest gainer on Airplay right now, a bright future for it.
