3 remixes..you forgot 'diplo version'.And some people calls artists 'desperate' with only one remix ,how lil nas X get away with it?.HE HAS 3 REMIXES..It's not cool, it's desperate

every artist who achieved a weird chart record like “16 weeks at 1” was desperate in some way or form. give it up, deelishis.

For Bad Guy too?

I feel like definitely OTR has  bigger views compared to it tho

why would you compare a Justin Bieber remix to a Young Thug and Jocelyn Donald one :toofunny3:

Diplo remix doesn't even have added verse or artist? That's just one of Diplo's trash dance remix so who cares

And tbh Billy Ray&Young Thug&Mason Ramsey doesn't really have streaming power. It's their luck they got otr remix :cm:

Yasss...

Bad Guy kinda deserves #1 but not like this and OTR snatching the record is more fun!

Most songs have multiple dj remixes anyway. It’s really nothing new. Shape of You had several versions as well.

I loved BG but now I cannot even listen to the original without feeling disappointment.

Out of all the artists why the mf jb?

Probably was JB hopping on Bad Guy success since IDC didn’t give him a new #1.

I hate him so much.

Let's stream OTR so it breaks the record then Bad Guy can take over soon the top so both sides are happy. Both are good songs and both deserve the top spot. :cm:

She made her wish come true - she got a collab with star she loves, I think that's the most important aspect of it. Also, JB has a power to push it and we can see that. Even if the remix is atrocious, it still helps A LOT. Beliebers ate this up.

people have been waiting for Thug remix since April, he had to release it sooner or later

if so it was smart, not desperate to do a long-form planning and schedule Thug remix for a moment when the song started declining

OTR keeps free falling on radio. Maybe that could help Bad Guy too

Spotify USA

12. bad guy by Billie Eilish | 1,103,279

15. Old Town Road - Remix by Lil Nas X | 923,199

19. Old Town Road - Remix by Lil Nas X | 860,997

Yeah that gap isn’t big enough with his YouTube lead I’m pretty sure :duca:

Radio:

5=  Billie Eilish & Justin Bieber - bad guy  106.85   +0.45

8=  Lil Nas X - Old Town Road (feat. Billy Ray Cyrus) [Remix]  90.86  -2.78

In 9 days the gap will be bigger as long as Bad Guy doesn't peak on airplay

Sales will be around the same for both. Maybe OTR a little bigger

Billie's only hope will be youtube if the streams are higher than expected

I think it might be too early to call

So far we don't have YouTube numbers (although OTR is probably going to be higher, since it was already higher before and it's trending at #1 while the BG remix at #2, but who knows), and tomorrow's Spotify numbers should give us a better look as well (since one of the remixes might collapse)

It comes down to streams imo in which will have the better lead.
