Madonna lands her ninth No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 chart as Madame X enters atop the tally. The set, released via Interscope Records on June 14, launches with 95,000 equivalent album units earned in the U.S. in the week ending June 20, according to Nielsen Music. Sucks that she was so close to 100k and didn’t hit it, but great that she’s #1.

I wonder if this will be her last #1 album now that Billboard is changing the ticket bundle rules.

Not a fan but a f-ing legend...

I really hope no one comes for her because none of your favs did what she did or will do what she's doing now 30+ years into her career and on her 14th (if i'm not mistaken) album! Bow down to who paved the path to everyone came after her!

The album’s sales were bolstered by a concert ticket/album sale redemption offer with the Queen of Pop’s upcoming theater tour (starting on Sept. 12 in New York at Brooklyn's Howard Gilman Opera House), as well as an array of merchandise/album bundles sold via her official website.

I always wish they would give us a breakdown of these #s

She clearly meant Madame X being #1 on the BB200 and Medellin being a #1 on the Hot Dance Club Songs.

Happy that the queen is getting one more number one album. The second week though... it will get a huge decrease
