If you consider a #2 debut a flop, I don't want to know what you think about a #40 one

Streamings are missing, and she is frontloaded, Lewis is doing 25k-30k every week. She'll struggle to cross 30k tho.

Emebrassing since Kylie did almost 60k in her first week last year.

Kylie did 48k with better promo and Dancing being a cute top 40 hit. They usually debut with similar numbers, especially the past years:

Kylie:

- Golden: 48k

- Kiss Me Once: 29k

- Aphrodite: 80k

- X: 82k

Madonna:

- Madame X: 29k (?)

- Rebel Heart: 37k

- MDNA: 56k

- Hard Candy: 94k

29k is right in their alley, no other girl in such late stage of their career is pulling numbers like them. MX was just released on a bad week as she would’ve comfortably been #1 in most of the year with those sales.

I honestly don’t understand how Taylor and Little Mix are so high, I guess a few songs are on ACR this week? Both Woman Like Me and ME! we’re doing waaaaaaaaay better and were in the same positions as these songs which are doing lacklustre on Spotify + AM in comparison.

I'm just happy she's actually going #1 in Canada and the USA. The UK kinda dropped her like 8 years ago after the divorce lol.

Yeah those numbers are great for iconic artists and Madonna usually debuts #1.

Kylie is an unknown artist in Western culture so we shouldn't compare her to the Queen off pop.  She basically has two hits in North America.

This is UK where Kylie is the second most successful female artist ever in the album department behind Madonna. They are comparable :toofunny2:

I love you sis but no you don’t, Kylie being 50 makes no difference if Madonna was 80 both aren’t being played on radio or being given the proper promotions/singles platforms from their labels if Kylie was in her 30s or even early 40s I’d agree but being 50 she’s in the same boat, but at least Madonna was still having her new music played on radio in 2009 at Kylies now age. Kylie isn’t

LM :rip: I feel like they tried too much to be edgy with WLM and Bounce Back

I missed them when they served organic pop quality as their first single like Black Magic and SOTME.

This urban/edgy experiment is a failure.

I think it's funny how Madonna doubled Bruce's sales in the US but Bruce doubled Madonna's sales in the UK :rip:
