Apparently, this is only affecting their new shows. The current shows aren't affected so Riverdale / Dynasty are safe.

Thank God

Though stupid move from CW, since the Riverdale spinoff coukd benefit from Netflix

The spin off is being shopped and I would assume Netflix will buy it tbh

Aren't CW shows very successful on Netflix? They're always on the trending tab. Netflix keeps taking the L these days.

Though some of them will probably still end up there. I can't see them not picking Katy Keene and Nancy Drew up for example. One is a Riverdale spin off and the other looks like a Riverdale/Sabrina hybrid.

Maybe not soon, but it's dominance is fading. Too much mediocrity to sift through to find good entertainment. Plus the company can't keep it's current business model up and not implode within a decade.

This looks bad for both parties involved. A lot of the CW content is arguably the most consumed in Netflix by their non-American audience, but outside the U.S. Netflix still has a lot of power specially in Latin American countries, Lucifer was on Netflix for a while and it just became a thing when they premiered the new season like everybody was watching it and commenting on it so the CW shows may loose a lot of international viewership.

Yes, especially Supernatural. This could really hurt both parties.
