You said it would fall in critical acclaim. I responded with "she's doing more than fine"

OT: Congrats on Ariana on her biggest song being more streamed than a flop single by Taylor. No one saw that coming :cm:

Did switching labels affect Taylor ?

Definitely. Big Machine’s only big act was Taylor so they put most of their energy towards her music, meanwhile Republic has artists like Drake, Post Malone and Ariana so she’s not going to ever be their main focus.

Were you here when she did one of the biggest promotional weeks of recent years? People should really shut up when they don't know what they are talking about :rip:

I was talking about for this era obviously.

Taylor has enough awards to where she could never win one again and she'd still have done amazing.

I was talking about how this will effect her run in the future as well, calm the **** down. :rip:

She’s not going to be the main focus of this label as she used to be and that’s a fact.

So why do you think her album will have less critical acclaim than Ari's?

Because right now you have nothing to base that off except for the lead single and track record and while the song sucks, her track record greatly outshines Ariana's :)

How could a change to a label that prioritizes streaming in the streaming era not be beneficial to her? :toofunny3:

There's literally no proof Republic isn't willing to invest on her as much as other people under the same label. And what Big Machine invested was nowhere near what we saw last week
