That's just not true though. :rip: Love Lies was #1 on callout scores for WEEKS and it took it 24 weeks to top pop radio, while it peaked only at #3 overall. Then you have songs like 7 rings who were always somewhere around #5 on callouts, yet were HUGE on radio. BUWYG is #11 on callouts, it's at 94.2M AI and it's still gaining. :skull:

Also funny how when 7 rings started dropping, it suddenly had a slight boost so it could go #1 even though it was falling on callouts. Wonder how you explain that. If you really think radio cares about what people wanna hear, you're delusional. They'll play whoever pays them.

Truth about "Shallow" radio performance was... It didn't have good callouts during its initial release, peaked low on Pop. After the Oscars surge, Pop radio completely jumped on board, it got to Top 20 pretty quickly because of the buzz during the time. The growth became more moderate, and we saw that callouts actually really improved, and they were very good this time (compared to last year). It still was having a positive bullet but slowing down, the following weeks callouts weren't improving, and showing GP wasn't fully enjoying the song, progressively the song showed decrease on callouts scores and it started to actually really decrease. It should have peaked higher, but we know there are other factors impacting for radio, and we know Gaga is not pop radio darling anymore.

Peaking at certain position doesn't depend only on callouts, BUT callouts do matter for longevity purposes.

It’s a bad song so she got what she deserved. I am a huge fan but I don’t feel sorry for her :fan:

I was surprised to see Youngblood held on to #50 this week. But I guess Baby Shark and one of the country songs falling out of the Top 50 equaled out P!nk and Taylor's gains. It definitely will be recurrent next week though along with thank u, next. And I'm sure Kill This Love and SOS will be falling off too.

Shallow didn’t get good callout scores until it’s second wind on radio after the Oscars (on its first wind it got bad ones) which by then it had run its course as it had been out for 6 months. Educate yourself, call out scores most certainly do matter.

And Shallow only got that Oscars boost because her label had been throwing money at its award campaigns the entire season, and it had a gimmicky performance that relied on the drama behind the alleged affair Cooper was having with Gaga. Nobody would have cared about it otherwise if the checks hadn't been cashed out for Shallow to sweep the entire awards season.

He's literally been predicting that song to go Top 10 for ages and he's always wrong.

Ok sis I thought you were one of the few sane members on this site but you're clearly going off the rails with these accusations :skull:

Me! is a hit whether ATRL likes it or not. Let’s not forget that ATRL called Sucker frontloaded and weakest #1 since HIAM and now look how strong it is.
