Because P!nk caters to actual music buyers and not the fickle gays on an Internet forum who “YASSSS” over basic pop girl fads and bull****.

Yes? I mean, Billboard can use whatever algorithms they want to quantify streams into sales equivalents, but she’s definitely making more money from physical sales and her touring. Alienating her core fanbase right now could literally ruin her career. She’s always gonna be the singer “my parents listen to” now. She’s not gonna relate to teenagers on that level. They can push streaming more, but it’s not gonna do much of anything when her main fanbase doesn’t use streaming services. The only way she could do it is to somehow get her soccer mom fans to switch to Spotify or Apple Music instead of iTunes. She’s clearly doing something right by continuing to sell albums and sell out tours.

Her carreer is pretty much 20 years old and it has been 20 years of success. Does she really need to think about the long term anymore? I really don't think so. Let the new pop girls think about that coz most of these girls seem very "fickle"

Has ATRL still not learned ITunes is a dead app? Streams matter most.

It is, considering the sales that come from it are miniscule. :skull:

...what? I'm talking about iTunes in general, not P!nk specifically. Sales from iTunes are minuscule in 2019, regardless of whether or not that artist makes music you deem 'quality'.

Shallow went #1 because of strong iTunes sales, Head Above Water charted on Hot 100 for two weeks because of iTunes sales only. It is still relevant enough to make an impact on the charts.

Did I say it wasn't relevant? Sales from iTunes are still ridiculously small these days, not quite sure why you're trying to fight that fact. :toofunny3:

Its a very easy calculation:

If you are #1 on streaming services and lets say #10 on Itunes, you'll most likely chart at #1 regardless these days.

If you are #1 on Itunes and #10 on Streaming services, you'll most likely chart at like #8-#9.

So thats that on that.
