The girl is smashing and she doesn't have a single song inside the Airplay top 100. Why are the radios pressed at her success?

Sexism. They played Justin’s corny music back when he was 16/17.

It was sent in the end of february but the radios are so stupid that they decided to officially add it while Bad Guy is smashing.

Her music is too quiet. But I did hear WTPO for the first time on radio this week!

Girl, radios play a huge part in promoting your music (+ in the Hot 100 calculation). If they don't end up supporting her, she'll be in the same situation as Lana: a huge breakthrough era but no radio support to maintain her success in the rest of her career.

she needs to send bad guy to pop and alternative radio NOW.

Her music is not very radio friendly, but I think Bad Guy will do decently, they can't ignore her much longer considering the obvious demand.

I think 'When the Party's Over' is getting traction just now.

except it actually is.

take out the (slightly) warbled/distorted production, this is a paint by numbers pop ballad.

She doesn't do payola or radio deals. What even are radio deals? You play my music and you get nothing in return. How is that a deal?

Billie didn't need radio to be popular and she won't need it to keep herself popular.

You can't even hear half of the music, is just low frequencies :skull: It kind of makes sense

I couldn't see pop radio playing Bury a Friend for example. Even for the standards of minimalist pop I think it's a little too bare bones.

Bad Guy is more radio friendly but idk if the lyrics will go over well.

She’s been gaining a lot of spins since she debuted at #1.

WTPO will go top10 at Pop Radio, while Bury A Friend will reach #1 on ALT radio.

Radio is just late.

Her music is barely even radio friendly, what are y’all on?  Her music is literally about depression, sadness, lucid dreaming, etc.  Top 40 prefers to spam Bebe Rexhar, Ariana, mumble rapper x y or z, etc.  Shallow had to go #1 without any radio support to even get played.
