Is Homecoming a non-event?

It premiered yesterday and I haven’t really seen it making the massive wave that a Beyoncé release traditionally makes.

Obviously, Beychella was a HUGE cultural event and I’m not trying to discredit the massive artistic achievement that the performance was, but the Netflix film doesn’t seem to be having the same effect. Did she wait too long to release it?

It was talked about on every local TV news station in NY yesterday, not to mention it being a coast to coast topic of conversation and the subject of countless articles online and in print. I wish my other faves had “nonevents” like Bey.

It’s literally been HUGE. All over social media, many rave reviews, all over the news, even First Lady Michelle Obama posted about it. Just say you hate Beyoncé and go.

I mean it's a Netflix documentary, it really wont feel big unless you search for the hype.

I quite literally love Beyoncé and have paid to see her in concert twice. ATRL users need to stop taking everything so personally, I’m just trying to have a real discussion because I truly haven’t seen it virtually anywhere on social media.

For a documentary that showcases visuals and audio thats already known for one year, its doing extremely well. But sure OBHs, please go ahead and act like this is a new Studio album.
