Oh wow oh wow, Dua’s debut album is on its way to 2x Platinum in the US, how come a US non-factor is reaching that goal?

DL2 is coming to help it pass the 2M mark!

That debut album is literally one of the best popgirl debuts EVER. Literally no filler songs.

Saying it ‘sold’ that much literally isn’t correct usage of the word.

It 'sold' that much in asjusted 'sales', see how that works.

Adjusted sales are still sales? What else would you want people to say in 2019 since pure sales clearly aren't used by anyone anymore (from chartwatchers to music outlets such a Billboard and Rolling Stone).

Adjusted consumption? Because she didn’t sell them. No one specifically went out and bought them. They consumed her music through paid services.

I was told Dua Lipa's era was bigger than reputation, yet it hasn't moved more units. Interesting. Still a big feat even though she didn't actually sell that many copies and the usage in the title is incorrect - 'moved ___ units' would be correct.

I mean if we look at the total amount of records sold and awards then it is, but looking at album sales and touring then obviously not.

? Who told you that? reputation moved more than 3.2m units in the US alone.:skull:

doesnt the album have like 40 songs? not to discredit, but isn't it easier to get bigger streams with more songs?

No, it’s not. That’s a misconception. It is a tactic but not always guaranteed.
