I don't know if she can still serve a bop in 2019, let's wait and see.

The song will most probably be a huge mess and will disappoint. But I'll be glad if I'm wrong.

In what sense? Maluma hasn't scored a hit in like 2 years either and it's not like he's big outside of latin american countries so I doubt it will do anything other than damage Madge's brand more than it already is by doing reggaeton...

How? The only place he can help her succeed is the one of the only places where she's still retained her power i.e. Latin America. He's hardly going to help her much in NA and Europe where she could use the help.

She hasn't retained any power in Latin America...? :rip:

She hasn't had a hit here since Confessions.

4 Minutes, Give it 2 Me and Miles Away were MASSIVE hits in Latin America. She also toured that continent in full for the S&S Tour.

Well, even Celebration was a hit in some places.

Oh true, I thought the Confessions era was after the Hard Candy era. But anyways, it has been more than 10 years since the Hard Candy era.

She can tour everywhere and sellout, touring is not an issue for her but her music hasn't been relevant here in Latin America for the last 10 years.

This is facts btw.

Nobody expects a 60yo woman to have a hit and i think after Rebel Heart she is aware of that so let's have fun and enjoy whatever she serves.:duca:

i heard them everywhere and im colombian. Specially Celebration / 4 Minutes :gaycat4:

"MDNA" is known too cause the biggest supermarket chain in my country protomoted the album like crazy+popular superbowl performance.

She's not as huge as she used to be but Madonna is the biggest "old pop artist" in my country.

Mariah/Whitney/Cher/Barbra.....are nothing compared to Madonna here.

Even my fave Shakira was a fan when she was younger :heart2: :gaycat4:

Screaming at the Gen Zs using "hits" as an excuse, Madonna is a touring force she can come to any country and earn millions in one night, your streaming faves can't do that.

Obviously. Madonna is like the popgirl with the worst stream stats (sans Christina Aguilera). Maluma's streams are huge. He'll definitely help in term of sales.

Welp if he's not that successful either then what's the point? I'm supposed to be worried but i refuse, she's been a mess with her release strategies for a while and should have known better.
