Don't ever disrespect Born This Way like that :doc: It literally invented the gay community. BTW is one of the biggest pop eras this decade :rip: The erasure.

Almost similar I think, but Shallow will end up bigger considering it has longevity

How many weeks did Breathin spend at #1?

OT: BTW. It was huge everywhere on Earth, it peaked #1 in Japan, #1 on H100 for 6 weeks, the impact is far bigger than Shallow

I feel this too. Shallow feels bigger now cos of recency bias, but BTW was an event from the moment it was announced to the week it left the charts. It’s the kind of success not many people yet to experience in terms of cultural impact.

Shallow is bigger statistically. It’s done better on the charts, actually. Like it’s not debatable. Only impact is.

I’m sorry but no. It’s not even close. Born This Way was and still is huge.

I don't think so. Plus, BTW is one of the most impactful song of all time.

BTW is a classic, Shallow is huge but we need more time to see Shallow’s lasting impact to compare them. BTW is definitely one of the important songs of this decade

Shallow is only bigger than the singles from Joanne.

It won’t touch anything from The Fame to Artpop.

Overall yes, Shallow is bigger than Born This Way but BTW's first weeks were an EVENT.

An artist can only dream to have one of these type of moments with a song let alone TWO.

WHEW, Gaga truly is one of a kind. isn't she? :heart2:

?

It’s literally on track to becoming one of her biggest hits, if not already there. Only hits above it left to surpass are BR, PF, JD and maybe BTW. It won’t surpass the first two but it will become her 3rd biggest hit based on chart performances for sure. It’s NOT debatable. Song is already at 1 billion streams, went #1 in like 25 countries and is on track to spend 25-30 weeks in the UWC top 10.

Don’t be delusional just because you don’t like her anymore. I don’t stan either since 2016 but this song is HUGE :rip:
