Mediabase
When it comes to Britney, her label did not push physical singles in the US that much to boost album sales. That's why a lot of her singles from the first two albums peaked that low. In the UK they promoted physical singles a lot with the first 4 albums. She is not Madonna. But guess what? No female artist is. Madonna is the most successful woman in music history. That doesn't change the fact that Mariah is also a globally known artist, that has enjoyed a great deal of global success in her career. And can somebody post Janet's receipts in the UK? She has done well there. Better than what some people here think. @frenchyisback Edited April 19, 2019 by Outside789

She is undercertified in the UK and many other markets. According to Chartmasters, Janet has sold more than 3M albums in the UK. So she has done really well there, very good for a mainly R&B act. She has done even better than some pop girls that people here call global while calling Janet local.
