It’s just weird because none of these songs seem big enough to “define an entire decade” even though some were absolutely massive.

 

I guess Hello, Shallow, Despacito, Havana, Waka Waka, Uptown Funk, and Summertime Sadness (for ***** and giggles).

The best-of critics lists usually favor more indie artists with a handful of mainstream pop singles
