I actually expected more, but it's a good thing she has massive streams, because her pure sales did not live up to expecttaions.

Hopefully the prediction goes up though, she deserves it (even though the album is not as good as expected).

He’s also the biggest streaming artist overall worldwide, yet people still want to buy his albums. This is not the case with Ariana. Why?

Because all her fans are young and when was the last time a young person bought an album? Honestly this isn't a hard concept to grasp. 

 

Ed Sheeran and Ariana are not artists you should be comparing, either. Sheeran is like Adele. Drake and Post Malone are far more similar to Ariana, musically (at this point) and demographically. Both of them just barely did double her in pure sales and that's probably because their total SPS was basically double than Ariana's.

Right where I predicted and Hits is never that off so I don't expect much drastic change. Some of you obviously got confused seeing all the streams and thinking more streams equals more pure sales

I expected more pure sales to be honest, and an overall SPS of 400k. maybe it can go up, the album is very good and the hype is huge

You don't have to consult with the label to discount an album unless you want them to drop the list price. Amazon took a loss selling Born This Way at 99 cents, far below the $7(?) that was owed to Interscope.

Here are so far her US Spotify totals for the album

 

31,911,537

25,978,283

 

she has ~39k units from that. If she gets more or less that average for the whole week, it puts her with ~130k units from Spotify, AM is going strong so I would add 100k from there and other platforms plus the 70k pure, she’s pretty much at 300k SPS

The pure predictions are 90k-100k now. Hopefully they increase though.

Again, pretend like Ari has ever been a huge album seller? And nobody uses pure sales in 2019 girls (and her pure sale is predicted to be 100k, not 70k), just move on. Ari is going to debut over 300K SPS and will outsell Gaga. Like it or not, almost all official album charts are using SPS right now, just deal with that

That's what we call trolls, those people aren't Ariana fans. This is how ATRL works: use someone you don't stan, create threads about them in order to get them dragged by other fanbases and enjoy.

From what I've seen those weren't us Ari stans but mainly OAH who tried to get her dragged..... I always thought people see through that and know the difference between a stan and hater but I guess not.
