By grossing $330K this Friday in the US, ASIB now has grossed more than 400M WW!

Congrats to the amazing team.

It's like more than 11x its budget.

I was just about to make this thread but slay!!

 

So proud. What a blockbuster hit. We stan.

 

Now only if Japan has more legs and gets 15m more and maybea China release. We might be able to beat La La Land and The Greatest Showman (unlikely to beat both) but yay. Only if SK didn’t pay it dust. Ugh.

what's impressive is the album sales. But comparing it to the greatest showman, people are still reluctant to purchase her records post born this way era. Over 2.4 million copies sold since september, and it's probable the album exceeds 3 maybe 4 million by the end of the year.

It’s a remake of a heavily followed musical. Musicals are in. The film was always going to be commercially successful.

girl it is selling more than greatest showman at same period... TGS is only selling better at same period in the UK i think.. it was an anomaly and still is there
