Bigger: Friends or Game of Thrones?

I think that GOT has (or rather had) a bigger peak but I doubt that it will serve the longevity that Friends have.

An unfair comparison considering how much longer Friends has been around - but let's be honest, it's Game of Thrones.

If GoT was on Netflix the way it'd STOMP on everything.

Friends obviously.

Game of Thrones has a huge peak now, but I doubt it will STILL be a TV staple 15 years after it

Like i highly doubt GoT will be worth $100M a YEAR 15 years after 2019. Just not gonna happen. Friends is obviously superior. I love both though.

GOT will become a fad. FRIENDS is a classic. But people like comparing Ariana Grande to Madonna nowadays, so this site's opinion is very flawed.

OT: Friends is huge and binge classic for its run time.

Game of Thrones is a cult event. The Viewing numbers would be even bigger if people didn’t watch every episode in groups :skull:

Also Game of Thrones isn’t even over with yet they have a prequel coming :jonny5:

Friends as of right now. GoT *is* iconic, but I feel like it has less iconic moments than Friends does. "Winter is Coming" and "Tell whoever it was me" (I can't remember what she says because I don't watch it) are the only things I can remember people saying from GoT. My husband loves it but I really couldn't get into it, I'm not into that kind of fantasy stuff haha. But I'm sure it's great for people who like it! Friends just appeals to a wider audience.

GoT has yet to be bigger than The Walking Dead yet, right? I say that as a GoT stan

Friends by far. It's still relevant 25 years later. GoT gets forgotten after the end of each season and people just remember it when a new one is starting.

Friends. Though I never saw an episode of it until I watched it on Netflix, I'm pretty sure everybody has seen that show at least once. I have never seen GoT.

Friends is the #1 biggest TV show of all time. How anyone can say GoT is beyond me. :skull:

is this a joke? Friends is by far the most iconic show all time

GoT doesn't even have a single iconic character let alone multiple like Friends :skull:
