I can't with Billboard double counting streams for both the Hot 100 and Billboard 200

Adele has every demographic, not just teenage girls and boys.

Not like Drake. Adele has mostly older fans. Drake's main demo. boys ages 18-25 aren't listening to Adele. Alot of boys in that age group seldom listen to women artists.

Well Taylors hope to win artist of the decade has always been that Billboard may count touring. If they dont Drake probably gets it

Welcome to 2015 when I raised that concern.

imagine double counting radio if you counted top 40 plays more than other formats.

imagine counting physical cds times 2 against digital albums.

it beez like that in this billboard game.

oh well.

all the ones in the top 5 are or were in my wig at one point so im not complaining.

Drake ahead of the true album queens Taylor Swift and Adele?! You gotta be kidding me.

I wonder if BB will really go in that route cause that would be fvcked up..

25 selling 3M+ SPS in a week will be having same points with 21 Savage at no.1 with 70k SPS :dies:

I think that Pure Sales (1st half) plus SPS (2nd half) is more accurate

This is the only way tbh.

Based on combined points from Billboard 200 and Hot 100 (for the Hot 100 I used the estimations from Pulse Music Board updated until the last week of July 2018, so the Hot 100 points between August 2018 and January 2019 are missing here):

The top 3 is basically locked:

1. Drake  29.150.788

2. Taylor Swift 25.079.925

3. Adele  24.042.288

4. Bruno Mars  20.350.922

5. Justin Bieber 19.338.837

6. Rihanna 17.817.039

7. Ed Sheeran 16.177.911

8. Katy Perry 13.260.303

9. Lady Gaga 13.252.495

10. Maroon 5  12.673.434

11. Imagine Dragons  12.665.191

12. Luke Bryan 12.615.546

13. Eminem 12.468.378

14. The Weeknd  11.779.579

15. Lady Antebellum 11.176.379

16. One Direction 10.305.624

17. Kendrick Lamar 9.965.630

18. Jason Aldean 9.791.452

19. Post Malone 9.515.792

Hmmm this formular is extremely broken....

Didn't Billboard right before making the list, create a new formular last time? let's hope they do that :))

It will count but Drake's lead is really big so he has AOTD on lock even with Taylor's touring numbers

Touring will help artists like Beyoncé, One Direction, P!nk and JT to rank a little higher though. Gaga will also be higher than Katy with touring included and the ASIB era for the rest of 2019.

Touring should be counted because it shows the real popularity of the artists. Drake's numbers are like 70% streaming, he has released 5 solo studio albums & and 2 mix tapes this decade which have sold like 10m in total in the US which is unfair compared to other artists who have sold millions more with less albums and still managed to have huge success on streaming formats. :biblio:

So because Drake released consistently and smashed each time, it's unfair to other artists? Stop blaming his success for other artists being beneath him. Bruno did well this decade, your post should be congratulating him. Not his fault some take 4-5 years between one album.

And if they count touring Drake has good touring stats, despite what atrl says..

First of all I wasn't talking about bruno taking 4 years to release a new album and I am not mad about that, and second I was referring to other artists like Adele & Taylor who have achieved more impressive success than Drake did this decade and on different formats so yea I think that it should be between these two. Billboard double counting streams for both the Hot 100 and Billboard 200 is just ridiculous.

Nah, they use points based on chart performance but I believe all releases before the implementation of SPS will get more weightage tho.

Where would Gaga end up, if touring is counted & the ASIB era is added?
