Welcome to the fourth (!) annual AlexisNeiers' World Eater's Best Of thread! Let's face it - 2018 was sh*t, at least music-wise. Sure, we've got some amazing stuff, but that's almost a given every single year. I'd lie if I said it wasn't a struggle to finish some of the lists and be satisfied with them at the same time. But anyway, I'm pretty sure you already know what to expect, as the recycled banner might suggest. It's pretty much the same stuff as last year, with one exception. There are two lists to start off the thread (20 best music videos, 30 best album covers) and three main lists (30 best albums, 50 best songs, 10 best EPs - that one is expanded). Before the main lists I'll reveal honorable mentions - 10 before the album list and 50 before the song list (as a playlist). I'd want to say that everything that made my lists has been released from January 1 till now, but this ain't true nn; on the song list there's something that came out late last year, but was included on an album released this year, you get the idea. Even though I have everything prepared, I'm pretty sure I will do some last-minute changes, because I’m a mess. Btw, did I copy a big portion of this introduction from my last year's Best Of? Maybe so. But yeah, hope you bear with me and comment frequently

Defo agree and I don't understand why some people think it was the best year for music this decade... it's like 2010, 2013, 2015 and 2016 don't exist... even 2017 was better than this year. Anyways can't wait for your list

I'm boo boo the fool so of course I'm not satisfied with my last year's lists anymore. I've either discovered or rediscovered some stuff after some time and naturally some other stuff that appeared on my last year's lists has, you know, aged a biT to the point I haven't felt any need to check them out again. Nevertheless, neither of the lists is drastically different from the ones posted last year.
