Oh sorry

the way the thread talked about the details and script writing made it seem like an original. Why is bradley a writer if its a remake?

The fact this will be the third remake tho

A Star Is Born (1937): original starring Janet Gaynor and Fredric March

A Star Is Born (1954): starring Judy Garland and James Mason

A Star Is Born (1976): starring Barbra Streisand and Kris Kristofferson

A Star is Born (2018): starring Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper

This is a remake of a movie that happened way before anyone from the LLL team was even born tbh.

But yeah since LLL was so big this year this might hurt the movie's chance next award season.

All I'll say is that Gaga has pretty big shoes to fill, Judy Garland and Barbara Streisand are like the Queen of the gays and musical/romantic theatre. I hope she also gives us a great ST.

Barbara did that :clap3:

#1 hit in 1977, after the ST and movie were simultaneous #1 hits on the music charts and box-office. Whew imagine slaying that much, Queen.:alexz:

No1curr about gays their lack of taste since they couldn't handle one guitar strum on Joanne.

The critics who actually matter are gonna lash tho. I'm just here for the new moosik.

Because all the three movies have in common only the main "storyline" and the title, it's not a classical musical, the first one was not even a musical, the music and the epoch have always been different with each movie.
