and ppl said he wouldnt reach 2m first week sales with almost 700k from the UK (+ 150k Germany, 41k France, 20k Japan, 430k USA... etc)

None of this adds up to 2 million... all the big countries are accounted for.

I wonder if he could beat Taylor swifts global debut numbers. Obviously she'll slaughter him in the US but he does bigger numbers elsewhere. The UK alone almost makes up the difference in the US numbers.

That top 15 :biblio: I think it just shows how flawed the singles chart formula is with streaming added. The interest was clearly towards the album. It's like counting a CD sale as 10-12 separate single sales.

 

His album numbers are incredible, though.
