Yes thank u! But so many people heard it and I doubt you all live in New Zealand for example, that's why I thought the tea is hidden on the web :chick3:

OT: I also need Cinnamon to cleanse my soul :chick3:

She said she showed the album cover to Ben and he hated it and made her shoot another one

i just realized in talking about her happiness on this song, she's completely erased the need for happiness is a butterfly to exist. :gaycat3:

I don't like Hope all that much, but I think i'll enjoy it more in context of the entire record. NFR is going to be my favorite :jonny5:

It takes a certain level of intelligence (that many Lana stans on Twitter are not blessed with) to truly appreciate this song. This is one for the true music lovers.

The second verse is possibly one of my favourite Lana verses ever :jonny5:

Quote

I had fifteen year dances
Church basement romances yeah I've got
Spilling my guts with the Bowery Bums
Is the only love I've ever known
Except for the stage which I also call home
When I'm not serving up God in a burnt coffee pot
For the triad

Hello it's the most famous woman you know on the iPad

Calling from beyond the grave just to say "hi dad"

The verses sound like poetry set to music... she is coming for Poet Laureate with Violet Bent Backwards over the Grass :jonny5:

i'd rather for this song to get scrapped. HIAB at least is somewhat enjoyable. maybe this one'll grow on

It's open to interpretation, but I see "God" as caffeine, and triad could be the chords that make up the music she writes with her coffee, or it could refer to:

Beck's cognitive triad - types of negative thought present in depression

Dark triad - group of three undesirable personality traits

MacDonald triad - group of sociopathic infantile traits for anti-social personality disorder

:michael:

This song would make me lose faith in this album but VB and MAC were literally flawless and the rest of the snippets sound great

This is her most beautiful sad ballad. Not an opinion, just stating facts.
