this is a classic... this is a classic

i remember when TLY came out and most people called it boring or sumn

this is much better than Change and it's the piano ballad we deserved

Cinnashit will get boring in 2 days with those ugly beats just like White Mustank did aging like milk

and this will age like fine wine xoxo

the melody is timeless and magical

tenor.gif?itemid=12206278

Even comparing TLY to this should be a criminal offense. TLY's bridge alone>>>>>>>

This is like Change's ugly little sister. The lyrics are cute I guess, it's very introspective Kate Bush / Fiona Apple / Norah Jones kind of song but lacks energy, melody and depth.

I agree that Cinnamon will probably have White Mustang's fate but it would've still been a better choice. This kills every hype there is.

This album could be a huge Grammy contender if the rest of it sounds even half as good as MAC, VB, and Hope. :jonny:

She could've had Grammy hype had she released this in August / September aka before the deadline.

Albums released in the beginning of the year usually are forgotten by the academy come next year and don't stand a chance, especially since it's Lana we're talking about. Not even Taylor Swift got an AOY nomination for Reputation cause it was forgotten even though it was named one of the best albums of 2017 by most critics.

Change is no better than this song.

the fact Lana thinks swearing in a song equals to raw expression...

anyway this is convoluted and faux introspective. Her vocals are nice

It's better than Change artistically (not by much though), but I honestly do not know in what mood I need to be to listen to this.

And the femenezm part starting at around 3:18 about "modern day women"  is not what I wanna listen to.  I just do not like this whole "faux woke"  and "preachy" movement in music recently.

only an idiot would think that speaks about a black person. i do not think that anybody with functioning braincells wants to expose themselves as an utter idiot for everybody else to witness.

This. If this song was a diss track, that would be a different story.

When I'm not serving up God in a burnt coffee pot
For the triad
Hello it's the most famous woman you know on the iPad
Calling from beyond the grave, I just wanna say
"Hi dad"

You can't say she doesn't write her own lyrics. :rip:
