Nicki could always spit but she debuted when pop was dominant and got flack from hip hop about being too mainstreamed. if there is any era of pop that she needs to be on her rap Beyonce it is NOW. for non/pre digitial/streaming icons/legends 100k+ is good for people raised in digital and actually successfully transitioned in streaming and having stans buy multiple (copies-all stans do this) and stream lik crazy...it's not a good look. I do believe there are believe there are behind the scenes shenanigans going on BUT she also benefited from behind the scenes shenanigans 8-10 years ago before blowing up. Who's to blame for her low tour ticket sales. Does she know her tour isn't selling and she has almost half a dozen mother****ers on the tour with her? Promo, discounts, playlists, and amplified drama will only do so much. Who's to blame for her songs sliding down Itunes and all streaming platforms? Who is to blame for her choosing to focus on old drama and fighting with reality TV stars instead of pushing her music and doing some performances to keep the focus on the right things? What is she going to say about the 2nd week numbers? Her childish outburst has set this era up for failure. Cardi definitely has to learn how to take the fame for what it is, or she will end up like Iggy and Nicki. People definitely tooted Nicki's horn way too much, and it was fine when she was the only female rapper on top of the game. I think Cardi's success definitely has had an effect on Nicki's decline.
