My prediction is that the 2019 Best Actress winner, Lady Gaga, will slay the red carpet!

It's too soon to tell and there's no way Logan or Beauty and the Beast get nominated.

Nnon acting noms are on lock for Beauty at least.

It's too early to really predict nominations. Most movies with potential aren't even out yet.

I hope James MacAvoy gets a nod. He was phenomenal in Split.

Logan and Hugh deserves its noms but I think it's almost guaranteed that they'll snub it, comic book films are almost always a no-go, the academy is far too snobby.

This, maybe if it was in supporting but in Lead? No way.

I think Gary Oldman and Judi Dench will win in Lead based on their roles and narratives.

Also, Brie is Lead in The Glass Castle and Naomi is supporting, I could see both getting noms if the movie is well received.

Does the Acadamy even support comic/action films?

Rarely. The closest in recent times is probably Mad Max, which isn't exactly a comic book but it has that comic-y/action feel to it.

I kinda feel like it's gonna be Kate as Lead and everyone else supporting...but I'm not exactly jumping to predict JT for an acting nomination :rip:

Interesting. First I'm hearing of this project but I gotta say predicting a lead acting mom for JT just based off the film pedigree alone sounds as ridiculous to me as predicting Gaga for ASIB or Harry Styles for that upcoming Christopher Nolan war movie :dies:

Heath Ledger won his role for playing the Joker in The Dark Knight, but I mean.......he died because of that role so that might be why but lets not say it :rip:

Logan was really excellent though and its getting major praise for it. All the three main actors, even the little girl did fantastic.
